Traveler 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 1 interim fix 1 e altre fix !!

L'utilizzo di Traveler tra i miei clienti si diffonde sempre di più grazie alla sua semplicità di installazione e gestione. Le features di livello enterprise paragonate ad un BES5 saranno anche inferiori (meno policy , no distribuzione sw,no navigazione centralizzata, etc) ma in termini di setup/amministrazione/funzionamento a mio parere non ci sono paragoni.

Aumentando l'utilizzo aumentano anche i problemi riscontrati per cui IBM si da da fare con le fix ed anche se siete all'ultima release rilasciata (Traveler 8.5.3UpgradePack1 InterimFix1) ci sono ancora diversi problemi che clienti scrupolosi riescono a riscontrare.

Dopo una chiamata al supporto ho ottenuto una cumulative fix che corregge i seguenti problemi:

    - LO71003 - Fixes needed for read-only database

    - LO71332 - Attendee status not maintain for all instances

    - LO71570 - Duplicate admin device entries created for some users when Traveler restarted

    - LO71686 - Future reschedules not received after decline from device

    - LO71763 - Meetings for chair appears in grey on iOS6

    - LO71857 - Partial workaround for Apple Provision looping

    - LO71969 - ios6 this and future on 2nd instance creates duplicates

    - LO71982 - Declined meetings sent invitations

    - LO71294 - Traveler does not encode internet addr with Domino routing

    - LO72053 - Emails deleted in Notes Client are not deleted on device

    - LO72138 - Auto-approvel does not allow for easy replacement of Device

    - LO72141 - Server side attendees lost

    - LO72145 - Monitor stays on backup server when primary server is down

    - LO72161 - Links broken in NOSCRIPT version of servlet page 

    - LO72179 - chair name missing in invitation sent by traveler

    - LO72412 - Traveler does not dynamically detect restricted servers

    - LO72395 - NAME_LOOKUP_MIN_LENGTH CHANGE NOT PUSHED IN TIMELY

    - LO72452 - Return receipt are saved in sent folder

    - LO72494 - Subfolders not sycning to device when parent folder renamed

    - LO72548 - Status.State is not set automatically

    - LO72589 - Server can't process any device notice actions due to hung thread  

    - LO72632 - Attachment has extra data appended

    - LO72784 - Primary mail address in Notes contact changed on update from Android device 

Esiste anche un'altra fix, un client Android aggiornato che corregge i seguenti problemi


     LO70314 - LOOKUP APP DOESN'T DIAL PHONE NUMBERS WITH PAUSES OR EXTENSIONS CORRECTLY.
     LO70315 - IMPLICIT USES-FEATURE STATEMENTS ARE TELLING MANAGEMENT APP THAT TRAVELER REQUIRES FEATURES WHEN IT DOES NOT.
     LO70330 - MAILTO: STATEMENTS IN PLAIN TEXT EMAILS ARE NOT PROPERLY HYPERLINKED
     LO70505 - PROBLEMS COMPOSING BIDI MAIL ON ANDROID ICS (4.X) DEVICES.
     LO70913 - ANDROID PEAK SYNC TIMES OFF BY SOME OFFSET
     LO71047 - OPENING LARGE EMAIL CAN SOMETIMES CRASH ANDROID CLIENT
     LO71145 - NULL POINTER EXCEPTION IN BREADCRUMBVIEW (TABLET ONLY) CRASHES TRAVELER

     LO71503 - UNREAD MARKS ARE SOMTIMES NOT SYNCED TO SERVER ON ANDROID
     LO71524 - REPLY TO ALL FROM ANDROID CAN CREATE BAD EMAIL ADDRESSES
     LO61791 - PHONE NUMBERS NOT CORRECTLY HYPERLINKED
     LO71808 - SWEDISH TRANSLATION OF "DECLINED" IN INCORRECT IN ONE PLACE
     LO71983 - USERS MAY BE PROMPTED FOR PASSWORD TO DOWNLOAD UPDATE TO ANDROID CLIENT                                          
     LO71990 - CANNOT SET NOTIFICATION SOUND ON SOME HTC ANDROID DEVICES
     LO72111 - INCOMPLETE SEARCH RESULTS ON ANDROID
     LO72813 - ANDROID OS 4.2 TABLETS: DURING COMPOSE SEND AND SAVE ARE GREYED.
     LO72924 - ANDROID 4.2 - SEND AND SAVE OPTIONS ARE GREYED AFTER REPLY

Per avere le fix dovete aprire un PMR al supporto.

Queste fix verranno incluse nel prossimo Traveler 8.5.3 Upgrade Pack 2 in uscita  a breve.
